Moments before the plane crash in South Korea, when a Jeju Air plane crashed into a wall and caught fire, a passenger on the plane texted a friend that a bird had hit the plane.
The plane crash killed 179 passengers and crew, with two crew members surviving.
“Wait a minute… we can’t land because a bird (or birds) hit our wing,” the passenger wrote at 9 a.m. in a message to a friend on the Korean messaging platform, KakaoTalk.
“Since when?” another person asked. “Just… Should I send my last words,” the passenger replied, and then the connection was lost?
