The first personalized mRNA vaccine against melanoma, which can also prevent lung, bladder and kidney cancer, is being tested on patients in the UK.

The final phase of the three trials, led by University College Hospital London (UCLH), has now been launched.
Dr. Heather Shaw, the coordinator of the trial, said that the vaccine has the potential to cure people with melanoma and that it is being tested for other types of cancer.
