All iPhone 17 series models will have screens with…

According to currently unofficial information, the entire iPhone 17 line should have screens with a high refresh rate.

The high refresh rate technology, ProMotion, has been reserved for the iPhone Pro and Pro Max models for years, while competing manufacturers have introduced this feature to lower-end devices. But to the delight of Apple customers, it seems that this could change as early as 2025.

As analyst Digital Chat Station states in his new report on the social network Weibo, the entire iPhone 17 line will have screens with a high refresh rate. However, it is not certain whether the regular iPhone 17 will receive a 120 Hz refresh rate, like the Pro models, or Apple will remain consistent with its approach and opt for a slightly lower 90 Hz.

Regardless, a 90Hz refresh rate is definitely an improvement over 60Hz, which we believe many buyers will be happy to accept. If this does indeed come to fruition, the upcoming iPhone SE will remain the only new iPhone with a 60Hz display.
