One of the world’s most active volcanoes erupts (VIDEO)

One of the most active volcanoes in the world erupted in Hawaii last night, for the second day in a row.

The eruption of the Kilauea volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii has spewed out a large amount of lava, but people and homes are not at risk. The eruption occurred in an area that has been closed to the public since 2007 due to hazards including unstable crater walls and falling rocks.

This is Kilauea’s sixth eruption of 2020.

Hawaii National Park includes the summits of the world’s two most active volcanoes, Kilauea and Mauna Loa. Kilauea has already erupted in June and September of this year.
