Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President-elect Donald Trump, posted a video on Instagram in response to the announcement that his father would be named Person of the Year by Time magazine.

The video begins with the 2022 Time cover featuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, a foot then kicks Zelensky off the cover. Soon, the newly elected US president steps onto the cover with his signature dance. The text also appears: “The Greatest of All Time – Donald J. Trump.”

Already in 2016, after his first victory in the presidential election, Trump was named Time’s Person of the Year. 13 other US presidents have received this honor, including current President Joe Biden.

Time, by the way, named Zelensky and the “spirit of Ukraine” as its Person of the Year for 2022. “Zelensky’s success as a military leader is based on the fact that this courage is contagious. It spread among the Ukrainian political leadership in the early days of the invasion because everyone understood that the president was with them,” the magazine reported on that occasion.

Just a month ago, Trump’s son mocked Zelensky, thereby increasing speculation that his father, after entering the White House, would reduce funding for Ukraine or its military efforts against Russia.

Trump Jr. then shared a video on Instagram posted by former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. “View: 38 more days to lose pocket money,” reads the message on the video, which shows the Ukrainian leader standing next to the newly elected US president with a sad look on his face.
