A luxury Aurus limousine believed to be part of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official fleet has exploded in the Russian capital, Moscow. Footage shows the Aurus Senat, worth around €320,000, burning in the middle of the street, not far from the headquarters of Russia’s FSB secret service on Lubyanka.
The car is believed to belong to the fleet of the Presidential Property Management Office, which is responsible for the Kremlin’s property.

The footage shows the fire spreading from the engine into the interior of the vehicle. It is not known who was in the car at the time of the explosion. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and according to available information, there were no injuries or deaths in the incident.
President Putin (72) regularly uses Russian Aurus limousines, and he recently gave one to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
This incident is likely to further intensify the already strong paranoia in the Kremlin that foreign agents are plotting an assassination attempt on the Russian leader.
