World War III is already underway because the Russian-Ukrainian war has involved most of the developed countries in the world, the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence service, Kyrylo Budanov, said today, Ukrinform reports.

“This is a philosophical question. It depends on how you look at it. For me, it is World War III, the absolute majority of the strongest and most developed countries in the world are involved, that’s just a fact,” Budanov said when asked by a journalist whether the war in Ukraine could be considered World War III.
When asked by reporters what could help Ukrainian society raise morale, he said that victories were needed.

“The answer may be a little unpleasant, but this answer has existed for thousands of years. A tired society revives and wakes up only when there are victories. When there are no victories, no matter what you do, it will not help. So, victories are needed, diplomatic, military, social, political, but – victories,” Budanov said.
The Ukrainian portal states that the former Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, previously stated that the war could be considered a Third World War, especially after North Korea “directly entered the war as an ally of Russia.”
